A Cree Immersion program was offered summer 2010 to approximately 25 participants including community members and UCN staff.  The program was one week in duration and held at the Boy Scout Camp, Clear Lake.  There are plans to continue the immersion program, pending funding.
Kenanaw Bachelor of Education Program
CALC will be working with the Kenanaw B,Ed. faculty 2013 to translate the methods courses into Cree to provide an opportunity for Cree speaking students  to teach in Cree Immersion programs upon  graduation.
External and Internal Partnerships
The CALC works with both internal and external partners to offer programs through the  Centre.  Two of the activities the CALC does annually are:
·        Professional Development Workshops and consultation services to First Nations Schools and;
·        Annual Cree Language Conference, sponsored with Frontier School Division, Mystery Lake School Division, and the Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre.
