Tataskweyak Regional Centre is located in the northern reserve of Split Lake, Manitoba, 140km north of Thompson and 895 km north of Winnipeg.  The population base of the community is approximately 2800.
While the memorandum of understanding was only signed on September 17, 2001 between Tataskweyak Cree Nation and Keewatin Community College (now University College of the North), the Tataskweyak (Split Lake) Regional Centre opened it doors July 1, 2001.
The University College of the North Regional Centre is committed to providing adult education and training services to met the needs of individuals, industry, business agencies and community organizations throughout northern Manitoba.
Regional Centre Amenities

•Industrial area with classroom (used for carpentry, electrician, plumbing etc..)
