The Churchill Regional Centre is located in the heart of the Town of Churchill, Manitoba. Churchill is located at the mouth of the Churchill River on the banks of the Hudson Bay. Churchill has Manitoba's only arctic seaport, the largest number of beluga whales in Canada, and many species of birds. Churchill is renowned as the "Polar Bear Capital of the World". It is rich in history dating back thousands of years and has a population of approximately 1000.

The Churchill Regional Centre has been active and open in the community of Churchill, Manitoba for the past twelve years. The regional centre was the second to open and now shares the spotlight with many other centres throughout Northern Manitoba.
