UCN Adult Learning Centre offers a variety of Grade 10, 11, and 12 courses for students seeking the Mature Student High School Diploma.  Day and Evening classes are offered. 

 Entrance Requirements:

• Grade 9 or equivalent or College Preparation Certificate
• To obtain a Mature Student High School Diploma, students must also meet the following criteria:
• Be at least 19 years of age at the time of enrolment
• Have been out of school for six months or more,
• Have been out of school long enough for the class of which the student was last a member graduated from senior years.

Dates:  September to January / February to June

**Students are accepted in to the program and some courses on a monthly basis from September to March.

 Location:  Thompson

 Program Content:

To graduate with a Mature Student High School Diploma, students must earn a total of eight credits:

• Four credits must be at the Grade 12 level:
• Grade 12 English Language Arts and Grade 12 Mathematics are required courses
• Four credits can be at the Grade 9 to 12 levels.
