The Educational Assistant (EA) certificate program is a 515-hour program, with 465 instructional hours and 50 hours of practicum.
There are 11 core courses (31 credit hours) and 1 elective course (3 credit hours). The instructional component consists of theory, simulation and hands on practice. The practicum component provides students with the opportunity to integrate theory and classroom practice into First Nations or provincial educational settings.
