| Planning for the 2019 Northern Manitoba Skills Challenge is underway and the event promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The organizing team, co-chaired by Suzie Nemeth, University College of the North (UCN) and Kathi-McConnell-Hore, Margaret Barbour Collegiate Institute (MBCI), includes representation from a number of different schools. The 2019 event will include competitions in Carpentry, Cooking, Electrical, Esthetics, Graphic Design Technology, Hairstyling, Heavy Equipment Service, Information Technology Software Solutions for Business (Office Suite), Job Search, Outdoor Power/Recreation Equipment, Public Speaking, Web Design and Development and Welding. The competitions will be held at UCN, MBCI, Mary Duncan School and starting this year, Oscar Lathlin Collegiate.
